‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ filming on location in Montreal today

X-Men: Day of Future Past will be filming on location in downtown Montreal for the next two days.

According to two tipsters, X-Men is filming around Chomedey St/Fort St and Sherbrooke St W – St Catherine St W in Montreal through June 20.

Director Bryan Singer recently revealed a set photo of what looks like a rally or press conference for President Nixon with the text, “Today we face the gravest threat in our history. What the world witnessed in Paris was not an isolated incident…” The photo has caused much speculation online about what it all means but we won’t know for sure until the movie hits theaters on July 18, 2014.

X-Men stars Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Halle Berry, Daniel Cudmore, Fan Bingbing, Evan Peters and Boo Boo Stewart.

  1. I live a few feet from where they’re shooting. The main filming is on Lincoln Ave. They’ve renamed all the streets (the street signs are changed to things like “W 20 ST” and “9th Avenue”), the streets are filled with vintage 70s cars with NY plates, and there are lots of extras walking around in 70s garb.

  2. Starting on lincoln, going westward, the set starts at Fort, and goes for a few blocks west from there. When I was walking home from work after, though, at about 7PM, the place had been completely packed up. The street signs are missing entirely, though, not back to normal, and the no-parking signs indicate they’ll be filming in the area until the 21st.

  3. I am going to Montreal this weekend and does anybody know where they would possible be. I would like to get some of them to sign my poster. Thanks.
