Thanks to one of our readers, Michele, we have a few photos of the cast of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals filming in Georgia this week.
The Vampire Diaries has spent the past three days filming around the Covington, GA Town Square, which fills in as Mystic Falls on the show.
Recently, Candice Accola, who plays Caroline, talked about the cast’s love of Covington.
“Covington is beautiful and charming,” Accola said. “We love Scoops ice cream! From the very beginning when we were filming the pilot it was just a really beautiful experience. It was an immediate bond that we all felt together. Over the past couple of years we have become a family. Not just the cast but the writers, production team, crew. I absolutely love filming in Atlanta. I’ve been a big fan of Atlanta from Day 1.”
Michele also shared a few pics from the set of The Vampire Diaries’ spin-off The Originals which is filmed in nearby Conyers.
