The big screen adaption of Fifty Shades of Grey continues filming in Vancouver this week despite the snowy, chilly British Columbia weather.
Yesterday, the Bentall Cactus Club was turned into “Grey Enterprises” for scenes which included both Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan. In one shot Dakota gave Jamie a sweet kiss on the cheek outside “grey Enterprises”. Author E. L. James was also spotted on set.
Today, they had been scheduled to shoot a bicycle scene near the Gassy Jack Statue in Gastown but it was canceled due to snow. Instead, they are filming at Burrard Iron Works on Main Street, which they are using as a studio.

Wanted more than anything to be enthusiastic about this movie, but I just can’t. The way this entire project was put together was more than disappointing! The length it took to finally make an announcement, the way it was announced, the choice of cast… etc. It is important for me to that that this has nothing to do the actors’ talent. It has to do with the fact that they could not be further away from the original characters, Ana and Christian. At least we have the books.
