Though a complete lineup won’t be unveiled until Jan. 30, SXSW has announced two of the movies selected for this year’s film fest.
Veronica Mars will see its world premiere at the festival, which runs from March 7 to 16, and Jon Favreau’s Chef, starring Robert Downey, Jr., has been selected as the opening night film.
South by Southwest is three fests and conferences in one – film, interactive, and music – that take place every spring in Austin, Texas.
The Midnighter features and short film lineup will be released on Feb. 5.
