A new season of The Walking Dead also means a new season of the live after-show, Talking Dead.

Right now they are looking for 40 diehard Walking Dead fans to participate in the live taping each week.

Here are some details about the show:

AMC’s Talking Dead, the network’s first live after-show follows the hit AMC series The Walking Dead. The half-hour program is produced by Michael Davies’ Embassy Row and hosted by Chris Hardwick. “Fans of The Walking Dead are incredibly engaged with every aspect of the show. They tweet, blog, and post comments in very large numbers, and we wanted to give them an opportunity to interact with the show in a way that they don’t currently have — a kind of live water cooler,” said Joel Stillerman, AMC’s SVP original programming, production and digital content.

Talking Dead features Hardwick talking to fans, actors, producers and TV enthusiasts, recapping the most recent Dead episode and taking questions and comments from viewers. “As an enormous fan of both The Walking Dead comic and television show, I pretty much begged for this job,” Hardwick said. “Dissecting the moves of Rick Grimes and the remaining survivors after every episode is something I would be doing with my friends anyway, so the fact that AMC is actually paying me to do so is a bonus.”

Talking Dead is filmed on Sundays in Los Angeles. To apply for free tickets, visit 1iota.com.

    Thanks so much.

  4. You have two diehard Walking Dead fans right here! We’d love to attend! If you could spare two tickets for huge fans that live local, we’ll be there anytime you need us!

  5. You all are complete idiots. Did you not read the end where it says where to go for tickets? Your comments aren’t a chance to get picked! wow, I’m surprised you people can even use the Internet at all.

  6. Both shows are incredible. I would fit in perfectly with the walking dead cast. Filling trained in combatives and weapons, 20 years of LE experience would be a great side kick to Rick just sayin ?

  7. For everyone looking for tickets, the link above doesn’t redirect correctly. Type 1iota.com into the address bar, it will take you to where you need to go. The tapings available and the dates will be at the top, application just below it. I’ve emailed iota who have advised, talking dead for the walking dead series will not be available for sign up until close to when it airs. Hope this helps.

  8. @Jay C. Do you by any chance know how close to when it airs will tickets be available? August or September? Even October?

  9. My daughter and I have been fans since Walking Dead started. We have seen every episode and will record them and watch them over and over again. It’s the only show I get excited about and no matter where I’m at I always make sure I’m home on Sunday nights. My daughter laughs at me because I get so upset when one of the main actors get killed or I think they might get killed. We both sit with our phones and watch the show so we can call each other during a commercial and talk about what had happened to that point. We know someday the show will end and we both have said we won’t know what we will do on Sunday nights. We also love and never miss Talking Dead because they have good guests and we learn things about the show that we never knew. I think Chris Hardwick is the perfect host for this show. He is so funny

  10. I’m 65 years old and LOVE The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead! I would LOVE to be in the audience and I got questions!!! Whats up with the helicopter? What is up the letter A? Love Chris Hardwick! I watch all his shows!! Take that Ryan Seacrest!! Chris is more interesting and way funnier!!! And pretty easy on the eyes!
