Just because The Vampire Diaries is on hiatus, that doesn’t mean filming has stopped completely in Covington, Georgia.
According to the Covington City Council the following roads will be effected by filming through June 20 for the upcoming movie Bessie:
Covington City Cemetery off Southview Drive
3299 Emory St
2146 Conyers St
2161 Church St
Washington and Reynolds streets
The movie stars Queen Latifah as legendary blues singer Bessie Smith, “who overcame her wild personal life to become one of the most acclaimed performing and recording artists in the 1920s through the 1930s.”
Michael K. Williams and Mo’Nique also star.
