According to GuestofaGuest.com, the U.S. premiere of Transformers: Age of Extinction will take place at the Ziegfeld Theatre in NYC on Wednesday, June 25 at 6:30 PM.
The Age of Extinction begins after an epic battle left a great city torn, but with the world saved. As humanity picks up the pieces, a shadowy group reveals itself in an attempt to control the direction of history…while an ancient, powerful new menace sets Earth in its crosshairs. With help from a new cast of humans (led by Mark Wahlberg), Optimus Prime and the Autobots rise to meet their most fearsome challenge yet. In an incredible adventure, they are swept up in a war of good and evil, ultimately leading to a climactic battle across the world.
THR also reports The Tonight Show’s move to NYC has doubled the number of movie premieres taking place in NYC and at least 30-40% of all premieres will now be in New York instead of Los Angeles, which has traditionally been the hub of big Hollywood movie premieres. This is good news for movie fans in New York!
Though the premieres are invite only, fans can still watch the stars and in some cases get autographs and photos as they enter the theater.
In addition to attending the movie’s premiere, Mark Wahlberg will also be making appearances on several NY talk shows this week. Check out the details in our Talk Show Guest Schedule.
