Steven Spielberg’s highly anticipated Untitled Cold War Thriller, also known as St James Place, has started filming in New York City.
The movie, starring Tom Hanks, Amy Ryan, Eve Hewson, and Alan Alda, tells the “true story of James Donovan, an attorney who finds himself thrust into the center of the Cold War when the CIA sends him on the near-impossible mission to negotiate the release of a captured American U-2 pilot.”
They began filming on Monday in lower Manhattan and, according to Gothamist, St James Place has been prepping for a shoot in DUMBO, Brooklyn all week. According to the report, filming at the location will take place on Sunday, Sept. 14.
Filming will also take place in Berlin.
