The Batman V Superman crew has been keeping busy this week. Check out the latest below:

On Monday, crews were seen setting up at Wright and Chene streets in Detroit. Later that night the movie shot a scene that left several Gotham City tankers charred.

Tuesday one of our readers spotted crews setting up on Grand Blvd down to Harper, from I-75 to St. Antoine in Detroit. Security tried to throw off onlookers, telling them they were “shooting a low budget film.” They were also occupying the lot adjacent to the 6-story Fisher Body building at Piquette and St. Antoine where a couple of Batmobiles were waiting on a trailer. The lot also contained several Chrysler vehicles for the film.

Last night the movie was spotted filming at the Michigan Central Station in Detroit.

Several recent casting calls also provide a few clues about where they’ll be filming next. According to reports, the casting company is looking for extras for the week of Sept. 29-Oct. 2. The shoot will take place in the Detroit area or Pontiac area. They are looking for police officers, a mom with a stroller (for Sept. 29 in Detroit), and runners.

There has also been a casting call circulating that is looking for extras in Lansing, MI on Oct. 16 and 17. Those interested can email a “current casual photo, name, date of birth, and cell number to wb@realstyleonline.com.”

Well in the Lansing are they might be filming at Michigan State University’s Eli and Edyth Broad Art Museum (in East Lansing) which Director Zack Snyder scouted earlier this year.

  1. I heard today that you might be looking for tall, fit marine-looking males. My 19 year old son would fit the bill. He is a Midshipman 3rd class (sophomore) at the University of Michigan in the ROTC program (marine charlie company). He is about 6’3″, around 190lbs. He is seriously ripped! My wife an I encouraged him to audition for mens clothing. He didn’t feel comfortable with it, but he said he would be interested in this movie audition. His uncle (my brother) was an extra in Grand Torino. I, too, have the acting bug but have too many work conflicts (athletic trainer/teacher). Anyway, I hope you seriously consider my son (if you’re still looking), otherwise have a Blessed day! 🙂
