As celebs arrive on the Oscars Red Carpet each year, you might wonder how you can get a coveted seat on those fan bleachers.
Each fall, for one week only, the Academy lets fans from around the world apply online for a random drawing for one of the 700 bleacher seats outside the Kodak Theater.
In addition to a behind-the-scenes look at the red carpet, everyone on the bleachers also gets an invite to a nearby Oscars party.
Keep an eye on Oscars.org for more information about the ticket lotto this fall!

This article, while slightly true, has some inaccuracies. The Academy discontinued the “lottery” three years ago. There is a new an entry method, but it’s not consistent year after year. It also hasn’t been the Kodak Theatre since 2012!
