This week the Jodie Foster-directed movie Money Monster began filming in NYC.
The movie stars George Clooney as the host of a live stock investment TV show who makes a bad call on a hot stock, causing a disgruntled investor to storm his studio with a gun and threaten to kill him if the stock price doesn’t bounce back
The movie also star Julia Roberts, Jack O’Connell, and Dominic West, who plays the CEO of the company that goes under.
This is the first movie Clooney has filmed in NYC since 2008’s Burn After Reading.
