Thanks to one of our followers, @jenna_devillier, we’ve learned The Big Short is filming on General DeGaulle Blvd in Algiers, LA (signs say “TBS”).
The movie, which Adam McKay wrote based on Michael Lewis’ The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine, follows “the build-up of the housing and credit bubble during the 2000s that led to the financial crisis of 2007-2010.” But, it’s The Big short’s cast, including Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale and Steve Carell, that is getting all of the attention.
