On Saturday, April 11, Ryan Gosling took part in a Q&A with fans at the Apple Store in SoHo, NYC to promote his directorial debut, Lost River. One of our contributors, Denise, was there and sent us this report:
He arrived super early (the event was a 12:00 and he got there at 10:45) so there were hardly any fans waiting. I think he did some kind of twitter discussion beforehand so that’s probably why he was hanging out there so long.
He was really nice and signed and took a few photos on the way in and signed a bunch on the way out. The crowd for the event was massive and crowd waiting for him to leave spilled out onto the street too. The police had to try to corral everyone onto the sidewalk.
During the event he was asked, “did your acting abilities come into play while directing the movie?” He replied, “Yes, in the sense that most of the time things on set were going wrong and there were lots of problems and chaos to deal with so I had to act calm, like everything was okay when it actually wasn’t.”
Check out a few photos below:
I’m wondering how many ‘fans’ were really outside afterwards. From the photo all I see are the pro autograph grabber scum.
One of the best and my favorite actors today. Hope to see him personal and have a selfie with Ryan Gosling.
