The Walking Dead is filming in the “Alexandria safe-zone” through May 27

Last week, The Walking Dead began filming the second episode of season six in Senoia, Georgia’s Gin Property, better known to fans as the Alexandria safe-zone.

According to flyers distributed to residents prior to filming, Alexandria will be setting for the entire episode. Filming will include gunfire, special effects smoke, and an air horn.

The Walking Dead is expected to continue filming in Georgia through November, with the new episodes airing in October.

Thanks to JP for the flyer! If you have scoop or pics to share from the set of The Walking Dead, let us know about it at olv@onlocationvacations.com!
