‘Indignation’, starring Logan Lerman, filming in Brooklyn this week

The highly anticipated new film Indignation, based on the Philip Roth novel, is shooting now in New York City and we finally have details about this week’s shoot.

Indignation, starring Logan Lerman and Sarah Gadon, is set in 1951 and follows Marcus, the 18-year-old son of a kosher butcher in Newark grappling with anti-Semitism, sexual repression and the escalating Korean War as he comes of age at a Midwestern Lutheran college. At the same time, the “sexually promiscuous, headstrong and fiercely independent” Olivia comes into his life.

Today, Indignation is filming at The College of New Rochelle and tomorrow, June 23, the movie will be filming in Brooklyn. Filming permits and No Parking signs have been posted around E 18th St and Foster Ave in Brooklyn for Indignation filming all day on Tuesday. Signs were also posted on Dorchester Rd between Rugby Rd and E. 16th St and Marlborough Rd between Cortelyou Rd and Ditmas Ave in Brooklyn.
