Lots of fans have a great time watching their favorite stars filming, and many have evenĀ been able to meet them, but few have been invited onto the set to have their photo taken by the movie’s director. But that’s is exactly what happened to one of readers, Lexa, and her sister on the set of the Ghostbusters reboot in Boston last week.
Here’s her story:
My sister and I made a sign for them (the Ghostbusters’ cast) and thankfully one of the crew members told us where we could see the cast best. We waited at that spot and the director (Paul Feig) noticed my sister holding up the sign and waved to us, after a few minutes one of the crew members brought us onto the set and asked if we’d like to take pictures and meet the cast. Then Paul took my phone and took pictures of us with the Ecto 1 and then the crew lead us to the cast (Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon) while they were on break!
It’s great to hear how welcoming Paul and the entire cast were to these two young fans! Check out this amazing, once-in-a-lifetime photo Lexa and her sister took with the cast (in their costumes!) while on set.
