On Monday, Dec. 14 Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiered at TCL Chinese Theatre, where the first film also debuted in 1977. It comes as no surprise that hundreds of fans came out just to be a part of cinematic history. After going through several security checks, fans were able to watch the stars walk the red carpet and, in some cases, score a much-coveted photo or autograph.
Currently, The Force Awakens is on track to have the biggest opening weekend of all time with ticket sales expected to reach up to $223 million.
