Today, Billy Bob Thornton and Kathy Bates were spotted filming Bad Santa 2 around Rue Ste-Catherine and St-Alexandre in Montreal.
Last week, Miramax announced principal photography had begun on the follow up to the 2003 hit, Bad Santa.
Billy Bob Thorton returns for the sequel, along with Tony Cox as Marcus and Brett Kelly as Thurman Merman. The original cast members will be joined by Kathy Bates as Thorton’s tough as nails mother. Ryan Hanson, Christina Hendricks, Jenny Zigrino and Jeff Skowron also star. Bad Santa 2 is scheduled for release on November 23, 2016.
This week, the movie is also expected to film scenes at the recently closed Royal Victoria Hospital.
