According to Film Baton Rouge, Jack Reacher 2: Never Go Back will be filming on location in the state’s capital this weekend.
North St in Baton Rouge will be closed to traffic from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday for the shoot. The shoot will close off several blocks downtown and will require police to be on the scene to direct traffic.
Jack Reacher 2 began filming last fall in New Orleans and is set to wrap production by the end of the month. The sequel to 2012’s Jack Reacher, which was shot in Pittsburgh back in 2012, is based on author Lee Child’s 18th book in the bestselling Jack Reacher series, Never Go Back.
Tom Cruise will once again play Reacher, while Cobie Smulders, Danika Yarosh, Austin Hebert, Patrick Heusinger, Aldis Hodge and Holt McCallany are set to co-star.
