Over the last couple of days we’ve been getting lots of scoop from the set of Gilmore Girls: Season, and we couldn’t be more excited! But, be warned, there are lots of spoilers ahead!
First, one of our readers took the WB Tour on Tuesday and spotted lots of action the Gilmore Girls set:
“I was on the WB tour. I actually did it twice that day. The first time they drove us through the Stars Hollow town and everything, the houses, Miss Patty’s, Luke’s, all the stores, look exactly the same as they did in previous years. It certainly seemed like they were filming the “Summer” season since the town square, the high school and everything else had those american flag type banners. They also had some filming set up specifically in front of the Stars Hollow high school.
By the evening tour, they had blocked Stars Hollow off to tours and you could see that all the store fronts had those tiny white Christmas lights on and could hear they were prepping to film some night scenes — the tour guide also confirmed they were filming. We also drove by the sound stages they use and there weren’t any cars or action happening there which led me to believe they were focused on the outdoor filming last night.”

Next, one of our Twitter followers tipped us off that there were GG Seasons directional signs posted along Melrose Ave, around the 6600 block, on Wednesday! We did some more digging and found out they will be filming at the same location (not sure of exact location but it should be in this area) again on Thursday, Feb. 18 and not on their usual sets at the Warner Bros lot.
Tonight, we also received an email from an anonymous reader who had a contact on set that said they are filming “Chilton scenes” this week, and she believes Chad Michael Murray has been a part of the shoot! If it’s true, that means Tristan is back, too! Not sure exactly where they are filming or if that’s what’s been spotted along Melrose, but in the first season Chilton exteriors were filmed at 905 Loma Vista Drive, Beverly Hills.
