On Monday, March 14, The Vampire Diaries will be filming on location in Covington, GA, better known as Mystic Falls to fans of the show.
According to permits, “Floyd Street Northeast between Elm Street Northeast and Anderson Avenue Northeast will be closed between 6 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. on Monday, March 14.”
The scene will be part of Episode 721, entitled Requiem for a Dream.
As filming for the current season winds down, fans are wondering if the show will be renewed for an eighth. After Nina Dobrev exited the show last year, it has felt like cancelation has been looming for the once beloved CW series.
In a recent interview with ET, Ian Somerhalder said for now the cast and crew is just concentrating on making season 7 the best it can be.
“It’s something that everyone is talking about and there is a lot of speculation about it because we’re so far into it. I’ll be honest with you, right now we’re just trying to get through this one and just make this a really, really good season of television,” Somerhalder said. “We just want to get through this year and make it good and we’ll see what comes about. That’s all we’re trying to do, but you’ll be the first to know.”
