Logan Lerman has signed on to star in Shawn Christensen’s drama Sidney Hall, which begins filming in New York next week.
The movie, which also stars Elle Fanning, Michelle Monaghan, Kyle Chandler and Nathan Lane, follows “three stages in the life of the title character, who writes the book of his generation before disappearing without a trace.”
According to Variety, “almost every young actor met with Christensen for the part after the script hit the market, but Lerman was particularly believable at playing all three stages of Hall’s life — he plays a 18, 24 and 30 year old in various parts of the film.”
On Wednesday, April, 27 Sidney Hall is scheduled to film at 260 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn. According to permits, the scene will include actors “attending school and seeing guidance counselor.”
