Business must be good at the Dragonfly Inn. With Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life making everyone wish they lived in Stars Hollow, Trulia decided to find out exactly what it would cost to do so.
Lorelai and Rory’s fictional town was inspired by Washington Depot, located in Litchfield County, Connecticut, so Trulia took a look at the median home values in Litchfield Co. and determined the cost of the girls’ beloved home to be about $445,000.
Trulia also took a look at Sookie and Jackson’s house, which we sadly don’t see in the new episodes, and decided their home would be on the high end of Stars Hollow real estate values, coming in at $685,000.
They also researched how much Luke could get for his small studio above the diner, since he won’t be needing. According to Trulia, Luke’s apartment is worth about $171,000.
How much would you be willing to pay for a home in Stars Hollow?
I live in Connecticut it’s expensive but these figures are obscene it would NOT cost that much
Lorelei’s house is 1 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath with a study (since Rory’s room doesn’t have a closet) so the price needs to be updated
