With production about to wrap up any day now on The Vampire Diaries, the show’s cast and crew have been feeling sentimental. Executive producer Julie Plec, star Ian Somerhalder, and others have taken to Instagram to share a few behind-the-scenes photos from the filming of the finale, using the hashtag TVDforever.
Nina Dobrev has also shared a few photos from the set, confirming she is returning for the last episode, to the fans’ delight.
According to the most recent casting calls, the show will continue filming through at least the end of this week. The most recent posts states the show will be filming scenes of the series finale on Wednesday, February 1st and Thursday, February 2nd in Covington, GA.
