This week, Marvel’s upcoming Inhumans series is filming at Diamond Head, one of the most famous landmarks in Hawaii which was once an active volcano and is now a popular State Monument.

Our friends at Reel Hawaii spotted them shooting at an old military installation called Battery Harlow.

Here’s the show’s official synopsis:

The Inhumans, a race of superhumans with diverse and singularly unique powers, were first introduced in Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965. Since that time, they have grown in prominence and become some of the most popular and iconic characters in the Marvel Universe. Marvel’s The Inhumans will explore the never-before-told epic adventure of Black Bolt and the royal family.

Anson Mount stars in the new series as Black Bolt, along with Iwan Rheon as Maximus, Serinda Swan as Medusa, Ken Leung as Karnak, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, Mike Moh as Triton, Sonya Balmores as Auran, and Ellen Woglom as undisclosed character.

ABC will premiere the TV series on Tuesday, September 26, after the first two episodes have debuted in over 1,000 IMAX theaters around the world.
