After speculation that Preacher would move from Albuquerque, NM to Atlanta, GA for season two, it was announced back in December that the AMC series would actually be moving to New Orleans, LA.
Dominic Cooper, Joseph Gilgun, Ruth Negga, and Jackie Earle Haley star in the horror/supernatural/comedy series based on the cult graphic novel written by Garth Ennis.
On Friday, Preacher was spotted filming in the French Quarter. Both Cooper and Negga were on set for the overnight shoot.

Preacher is just one many series filming in NOLA right now. The Disney series Shadows, SyFy’s Superstition, Own’s Queen Sugar, and season 3 of NCIS: New Orleans are all filming in town.
