Lauren Conrad Book Signing At The Grove

One of our readers, Christina, sent us these pictures from Lauren Conrad’s book signing at The Grove Monday. Lauren’s first novel, L.A. Candy, about a reality TV star (what else?), is on stands now. Thanks to Christina!

  1. quick question. how early did you have to get there to actually meet her? and did u already have to have the book in hand or can u buy them from bn when you get there?

    • I went at 9 AM when Barnes and Noble opened. I bought the book and I am a Barnes and Noble member, so I got a special pink bracelet. With being a Barnes and Noble memeber and getting the pink bracelet, I got to be one of the first 20 in line. They only gave out 20 pink bracelets then the rest of the bracelets were blue for general people. The book signing started at 7 PM sharp and LC started right on time and I got in line by 5 PM, but the general blue bracelet people started lining up by 11 AM. You had to buy your book from Barnes and Noble. I hope this helps.

    • The pictures were all taken with 3 diffent cameras. My sister had her digital camera. I had a digital camera and a larger camera (Cannon Rebel Camera). But all the pictures I took.

  2. thanks. Thing is i have work till 7 and i wanted to go to her signing but it will take me about an hour or so to get to the place. do u think its worth it? would i even get to meet her?

  3. with what u said above i dont think i will be able to meet her. people are crazy! but thing is its in a small mall not the grove la. do you think that would make a difference?

  4. That is cool that you got to take a picture with her, I went to her signing in NYC TriBeCa yesterday & they wouldn’t let us take a picture with her, we had to shut our cameras off when we got to the table but I got a couple of shots of her & I’m happy she signed my book

    • Sarah,

That is awful! I think if you buy the book and wait in line the least you or any fan should be able to do is take pictures especially when you get to the table infront of her. I am so sorry.

      • i also heard that she dedicated her signing to the fans in LA, like she’ll ask for your name & she’ll write your name in the book & sign it, is that true?
because in NYC all she did was sign it quickly & said ‘thank you for waiting’ and then went to the next person

        • At the book signing in LA she did NOT personalize our books. She did NOT sign our names. She just did her signature and you got to talk to her for a few seconds and take some pictures and that was it. She did sign my Cosmo magazine that she is on the cover. I was so excited about that too. She was so nice.

  5. dont know if anyone will see this, but i am planning on going this friday and was just wondering, did they hand out bracelets when you buy the book the day of the book tour or before last year?
