The highly anticipated Todd Phillips film Joker, which stars Joaquin Phoenix as the infamous Batman villain, will be filming in Newark, NJ Oct. 13 – Oct. 16. This won’t be the first time the Batman franchise has paid a visit to Newark, The Dark Knight Rises also filmed in the city back in 2011.
