‘Remember Me’ Filming Location for 6.22.09 & 6.23.09

Remember Me, starring Robert Pattinson, is filming around White and W Broadway in NYC tonight (after 5 pm). (Thanks to Avel and our two anonymous tipsters for confirming!!) Update: Location may be at Broadway, not W Broadway, signs definitely spotted on White St. I have received reports of both. I updated map too to show both locations, they are very close to one another.

UPDATE: Remember Me is filming at the same location, Boradway and White St, NYC Tuesday, 6.23. It will be another night shoot. (Thanks to Anon for confirmation!)

  10. I had the same issue with work, could only go on Monday last week and it was super crowded. I found mixed information on today’s filming times. Some sources are stating 7 am – 7 pm, others after 5 pm. Anyone knows? Wishing all of you a good week =)

  15. I saw Lena Olin on Thursday 18th shoot. It was raining pretty hard and she was under an umbrella and under her coat hood, but I am pretty sure it was her. She was walking to the trailer with an assistant.

  17. Wow a night shoot I am excited.. seeming my friends are too cool to head over to a movie shoot to see Rob I might be traveling Solo…. =( its so much more fun using the buddy system… LOL – although something tells me there will be a few people there to make me feel not so silly.

    Thanks for this awesome website – I’ve been following the convo’s since 6/15 first day of filming… it has been fun… hopefully we will all luck out during some point of filming to get a glimpse.

    • We are from out of town and on vacation and are trying to see some of the filming. We were down there earlier, but no activity, they did have several areas blocked off, w broadway, broadway, white, walker, and side streets in between. We would definitely be up for meeting up with some of y’all if you’re interested.

    • I am also going down tonight by myself since I live in the area. I was there on Wednesday when it was really low-key and I am hoping it will be like that tonight as well. If anyone wants to meet up, let me know!

          • yes i do! Thx. Why do the Twilight haters suck so bad lol. I luv my girls but they just dont get it an refuse to read the books. So am stuck going by myself,which i dont mind cuz i wont have to hear anyone complain about standing an hour to get a glimpse of Rob 😀

  24. the word is . . . Overnight shoot . . . and it will be outside. They will be using rain effects which means they will be keeping the crowds away 🙁 since its a night shot, they will prob start later . . . This is what i am hearing . . . Till 7am tomorrow morning

  28. it will be impossible to get anywhere near set tonight or tomorrow. My advice is to not waste your time and to come out when the shoot moves back to NYU later this week. Just FYI if you are thinking about coming in tonight

  30. I would wait to see the pictures for today and tomorrow and I’ll just go later on in the week to go back to the set. Tonight would be fun to go but impossible to see anything if you’re lucky.

  31. I’m thinking this OLV site is a movie in it self. With people flying in and staking out sets! I love it!! The actors we watch( like Robbie P) could play the background. It could be part mystery, drama and a whole lot of comedy!

    All the writing so far on this site is a movie. I bet Summitt( haven’t seen comedy on their roster) would like this!!

    I like to write and know a little about screenplay. Come on lets do this thing!!I’m in!!

    • Absolutely, the plot could be a bunch of people with no ties other than this site unite in NYC for a film stakeout and everything goes awry… One person can get arrested for something completly comical and mundane…..

      • I have four pages of story written already and a title!!
        But people need ties in order to make us care about them to connect them to their hearts.

    I live on the corner of West Broadway and White, and I haven’t seen a single permit posted. My landlord also knows nothing about it. I asked a cop on the street, who also said he hadn’t heard of anything shooting in the area tonight or later this week.

    The only reason i’m posting is cause a friend of mine called me to tell me about the alleged shooting on my street. don’t want all of you to trek down here in case there is nothing going on.

          its a definite they are filming an all night/overnite club type scene that will be outside . . . i guess it depends where

          i wouldnt be shocked tho if some of the crew members were signing on here posting messages trying to throw people off tho LOL

    • I just came from the set, I can confirm it for you ladies. It’s W. Broadway and White Street. You can’t miss it. There are trailers everywhere.

  33. remember me fan… I hope that this is not too late I checked the map above I made a terrible mistake on my tip when I said that 1 is the nearest stop it’s nqrw on canal that is nearest. And as I said it is broadway between walker st and white st. good thing I checked again the map above. It is showing w. broadway… it should be just broadway… see you all later…

      • yes christine it’s only broadway. I got confused too when I look up yesterday as to which train stop was nearest I only typed broadway and white st. and it pointed me out there. I didn’t notice though that it gave me w. broadway…

        • ahh than makes much more sense. See, i’m not a crew member trying to throw you guys off! Broadway it is…NOT West Broadway (where I live).

          Broadway and White is a crappy area…it’s basically Chinatown.

  36. OK… So I seriously need to add the internet option to my phone…. I want to hike it out to NY to get a peek at the set tonight (hopefully rob too) by I am afraid while I am on my way sitting in grueling traffic there will be breaking Rob/Remember me news… Like you can’t see anything…. its is crazy mob scene… Rob not even shooting this scene… and I will have no access to these updates… =( I am lingering around work hoping someone will the the location a thunbs up (or a thumbs down) to know what I will do….. help please… LOL (the post was meant to be funny – not stalkerish)

  39. Hey, I really need some help. I am coming into the city Thursday ALL day getting there at 7:00 Am leaving late at night. From Baltimore. Will it be easy for me to find the film location. Just curious, how easy is it to see him? Are girls still acting out of control? I know this was last weeks news but did rob really get hit my a cab running away from crazed fans??

    • Hi I feel you. I felt the same way I went to rockaway beach with very little info on Friday 6/20 I had to wait until 12pm when the info was posted on OLV but very accurate info. I found the set with out a problem. About crazy fans well I was surrounded by a bunch of 10-14yr old girls the worst thing every was that they almost got everyone else kicked off the set since it was a residential area. But I got to see him very close got a few good pictures since (I don’t know if their set security) but they kept getting in front of everyone’s way. But I enjoyed it didn’t get to c him much since it was indoors when I got there but I would go again if I could.

      • Yea, I am going for the day to enjoy the city but also to check out the shoot. I dont want to stalk the guy, just would like to see him in person. watch him work. no need for ppl. to get upset. I respect him and I wouldnt envade his privacy. Do you think they will be filming the same place all week does it change a lot? when does the movie wrap?

        • Sorry Jessica got confused for a minute who I was talking to lol. Yeah so don’t use your gps in the city I would do map quest for that. About the location I don’t think it will stay the same my sister in law went to the city to see him on Wed I was in queens on Friday so your only way to find out location would be by coming back to this site. I not sure when the movie will be done filming.

    thanks for the response. Im so excited but not being 100% familiar witht the city im hoping itll be easy for me to get there. when do they usually start if its am. Did you try going to his hotel. Im 23 so I dont plan on freaking out and making an idiot of myself but I think itll be a great experience. just hope it’s accessible.

      • i don’t think anyone should post his hotel info. it’s one thing to go to his set locations to get a glimpse of him and watch him work. its a totally different story to go to his hotel. this poor guys needs a break from all the hoopla surrounding him. let’s give him some privacy and respect!

      • Hi Natalia the only thing I can say is do not use the gps in the city it goes crazy and the filming time can change. I live on Long Island so I dont know much about locations and time I found out on this site.

      • I would like to know where he’s staying too. I’m thirty years old and don’t plan to start crying, jump on him, scream in his face and pass out. But if I’m driving to New York to catch a glimpse the hotel would be nice to know. In fact, I would probably stay in the same hotel. I do understand why putting that information all over the place is not needed. I prefer my Pattinson safe too. If anyone has any legit info. about his hotel I would be happy to receive a personal email. I have looked everywhere on the internet and I haven’t seen anything confirmed.

  45. I wouldn’t stalk him, I’m too old for that. It’s just that my friend from Romania heard that Rob was in NYC and she begged me to get her an autograph, as if NYC was so small that I could just bump into him on the street.

  46. I just came back from the set, and to be honest, you can’t get any really good photos of him. Seemed a bit mellow from where I was, minus the people that couldn’t understand what “no flash” meant. He was just walking up and down the alley. I don’t really recomment going, because you can’t use flash, and it’s gonna be night soon so you’ll barely be able to see anything. They’ll probably close off the alley.

  48. I went by around 5:30. Can’t see anything, they are filming in one of the side streets with barricades blocking people. I had to treck from West Broadway to Broadway, only cause I saw the red Panavision truck. Start work at 7:30 in the LES, maybe I’ll leave early and stop by.

  50. I just got back home from downtown. I got a glimpse of Rob, but you really couldn’t see much. Corie, I’ve heard they had rehearsals earlier today, so probably the pics on splash where taken then.

  57. So I just came back from where they are shooting.

    When I first got there, I saw a glimpse of Rob leaving his trailer, heading to the set; they were shooting in a small alleyway between the two streets. I tried to stand on both sides of the alleyway, but I really couldn’t see much. You could hear the PA’s and the director yelling things, but that was about it. In between each take, the paparazzi would storm the alley and take pictures, so those will probably be somewhere soon.

    For the hour and a half that I was there, It wasn’t really worth going unless you’re willing to wait around to see him walking back and forth to the set.

    • I had the exact same experience just now. You really can’t see much from anywhere. All we were able to see was blurry people in the distance until one of the set cars covered up our angle, and then from a different spot, closer to the filming, we saw two extras that would walk onto the street each take, but we weren’t allowed to get close enough to actually see Rob or any of the other actors.
      I asked the PA, and she said that it was pretty much pointless to be there since we wouldn’t be able to see anything at any point during the shoot since they’re staying in the alley the whole night.

  59. I was there too tonight on white and walker…i got there at 6pm and stayed until 10:30pm. On walker i got to see him briefly walking from his trailer, then from a distance saw him filming (running his hands through his hair of course), and that’s about it…we left because one of the PAs told us we were going to have to move because we’d be in the shot. It was worth being there for a little bit, since I kept missing him during outdoor shots and other days. I live in the city, so I try to go when I can!

    • You must have been right where I was. I also left at that point since I could see anyways.

      There was a group of girls standing near me that kept telling the people passing by that Harrison Ford was the star we were all watching since it didn’t make a difference. They all had the same reaction no matter what name was said haha.

    • I was there from about 6 until almost 9:30. Had a wonderful time. Seeing him briefly was enough for me, it made the trip out there worth while. Not that living in Queens is all that far. Would love to go again, hopefully I can get out there once more before filming is done.

  63. heres a vid from the set tht i recorded, good thing i got there early while the sun was up, @ least i got to see em. ITs dark now so u can barely see anything. Also, a guy from a radio station interviewed me nd my sister. Over all it was cool, id do it again in a heartbeat. The bad part was tht we went to w broadway + white street nd wen we go there there was nothing, we started walking around aimlessly for about 30 minutes till we saw the trailers. Maybe its fate right? xD

  64. This is kind of sick. Yes, we have all walked by the set… but is it really necessary to stay for more than 10 minutes? Walk by, see what you need to see and leave. Let the poor boy breathe and do his work!!!!!!!

  65. hey girls! so i live in the city and i got some info! no is not about locations! but i found out the his hotel is around prince street and also i have found out is near the C train prince street stop, now i dont know which hotel is it! but im going down town to try to find it on thursday n friday and whoever wants to come with me is welcome! also whoever knows where he is going to be thursday or friday and does not want to go alone please let me know! and i will go with them! becuase i dont want to go alone myself! yes ladies im one more girl in the quest for robert pattinson! )

    • I hate to break it to you ladies but Rob is NOT staying in some roach infested motel on Prince st. I wont say where he is staying but I will tell you it’s a f*cking FORTRESS…meaning- you won’t EVER get near the inside of the place. Celebrities like Rob and Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt, etc. don’t mess around and risk getting mobbed where they sleep. They stay where there’s iron tight security, professionalism with the staff and places that only the mega wealthy can afford- secret celebrity back entrances…the works. Don’t bother.

They were there until 1 am at least, I doubt they’ll be filming this morning. I heard they are shooting tomorrow night too, so maybe today is an afternoon shoot or even an off-day for Rob?

    I was there last night til about 2:30 / 3am (yes I am at work exhausted) they were still shooting at that time but yuo really could not see anything… like the post said above they are filming in the middle of a side one way street and you can not get close…. Rob took a break around 2 ish and went to his trailer and we got to see him – he just looked and gave us a smile — ahhhh sigh…. no hugs no autographs or anything like that… some of the security guards were estimating they would be there till about 5 am or so.. they are in the same location tonight according to the sign…

    • Oh wow! What was the smile like?? He is so handsome when he smiles. Did he look tired?? He is so freaking cute I cant take it!! His whole family is cute!! But back to Robbie P; I love the wardrobe, the grunge look fits him so well!

  75. Hi everyone! I just wanted to share my nightmare experience from yesterday’s RM shoot with all of you. I got there around 6:30 pm and stayed until 9:30 pm BUT you couldn’t see anything. As a few people mentioned before you were not allowed to use flash so pics came out all blurry. When he left his trailer it was a 5 secs thing – no more than that. We were then standing on a sidewalk when security started to push us back like “animals”. One guy kept constantly yelling at me even though I was not even taking any pics. They allowed the paparazzi to get close to the set and take pics all the time but fans were allowed to only get a glimpse whenever they stopped shooting for 2 minutes. Seriously, the security guards behaviour is unacceptable! They are pushing and yelling even though everyone around me was truly well behaving. I am a fan of Rob as well but this is unacceptable. I was there for 5 hours yesterday (even though the rain) and was just yelled at and pushed behind barricades like an animal. This was the last time I am going… He is not showing much and it’s not worth the long wait! Don’t waste your time. Sorry for the bad note but i don’t think fans should be treated like this – even this incident happen on Monday.

    • I completely agree with you. The same thing happened when i went about a week ago. Since that incident with those crazy fans, the security has been treating fans with no respect. Plus, they place fans so far away you can BARELY see him.

      And seeing as how since the first day of shooting Remember Me, only one person has managed to get an autographs (and this was before he was mauled), there is no chance that anybody will be able to get photos with him or anything.

  76. It is true they were strict with people taking flash photos… and yes they did let the pap’s get their shots at the end of the scenes… I really did not expect anything different though.. As to not be dissapointed… I was hoping that he would sign autographs for the last of the troopers that were there at 2:30am / 3am but lo luck – what do you expect you know…

    His security said they they let the photographers take photos – to keep the peace, otherwise they will be rude – disrespectful – unprofessional – which will disrupt filming etc…(of course – not mentioned but known is that, that is how they get the movie hyped & promoted the pap’s – that is how the biz works I guess) A girl standing next to me blurted out “we can get that way to beucase you are NOT letting us tak pictures”. the security guards response was then you would be removed from the set just as the pap was removed the otherday who would not play by the rules..It was a long annoying process – but I enjoyed moself – I rarely get to do this so it is cool when the movie comes out I can remember the filming of that one scene. For soem people it would not be worth it…

  78. Lessa, you obviously have never gone to see any celebrity or to a movie set before – sometimes you need to wait a long time & don’t get treated great. You had one bad experience – it isn’t always like that, although many times it is. I’ve gone to see people and had 5 bad experiences before I have one really good one 🙂 It happens. If you can’t deal with it, that’s fine.. The less people there, the better!

However, the movie and at the end Rob is depending from the fans and publicity and to my understanding they should let the fans take some photos in a break or at the beginning of the shoor so that everyone is happy and they can then work without any interruptions. If they don’t want the fans and media there, then please close the whole area and that’s it but stop treating people disrespectful. They want us to watch the movie, right? I didn’t see anyone misbehave yesterday so there was no reason for all this yelling and barricades, etc. Oh well, I don’t mean to discourage anyone of you.. everyone has to decide on her/his own but I won’t come back since you don’t get any good photos anyway… Check the paparazzi photos in the internet – it’s more worth it.   80. The reason the paparazzi are allowed to get that close is because Summit allows it. The paparazzi feed the mass hysteria creating hype for the film. The more they are allowed to see and photograph the more the public will hear about it. Fans talk to each other, but really Summit doesn’t much care about the people who already want to see their films, they want to draw the non-fan in. It’s like a free commercial for them.

    Don’t take this the wrong way, Summit enjoys the fact that you all want to see the film, but they’ve already got you, they know you’ll be there.

    No offense to those of you planning to stalk his hotel, but don’t you see that as a bit wrong? Fine, if he’s in public (and I’m not talking about sitting in a restaurant or bar) and you want to ogle or try to get a picture or autograph, but when he’s at his hotel, that’s like home for the the time being. Think for a moment how that would feel.

    Don’t get me wrong, I might swing by a set location whilst in the city, but I’m not going to stalk the poor guy. If I happen past where he is and get to see him, great, if I don’t, well the movie will be out in February and I’ll see him bigger than life.

    Just remember, this is a human, one who has been very cool about all of this, but even the best of us can take only so much before we snap. Be respectful, try not to scream as that will get you nowhere. He’s just a guy, like any other guy on the planet, yes, he’s attractive, but he still pisses and eats and sleeps like any other person. He’s easy on the eyes, but still a human.

  81. I’m not planning to go to the hotel, but I just wanna say that I don’t agree w/ the whole “stalking a hotel is wrong” business. This isn’t about fans going inside the hotel or anything, that’s crossing lines. But a lot of fans do wait outside hotels (along with paparazzi, mostly) and it’s not a problem. I think it depends on the celebrity, though. Some celebs are really nice to people outside of their hotels & the fans get rewarded with pictures/autographs since there are not as many people there. There are some celebs that clearly don’t like it, & in that case you’d obviously stay away bc no one wants the person they’re seeing to be rude or mean to them. It definitely depends on the celeb, in my opinion.

  84. Let me start off by saying that I have been coming to this site for the past few weeks, and have seen that the same few people have been posting. What I find the most funny from all of you is the hypocracy. Some of you come on here and for hours beg people to find out where the next shooting location will be. And then yell at people for wanting to go. I have news for you, you are no more righteous than the person that wants to go to the guys hotel room. Nor do you have the right to tell people your views on going to the hotel either. Starting it off by saying “i don’t mean to sound rude” doesnt make you anymore of a nicer person, it just points out your own faults.

    I work in Manhattan, have family who lives in Manhattan, and frequently go out in Manhattan. I have seen numerous celebrities on the street, in bars, and walked through shooting locations by accident. I have never once seen the reaction to any other celebrity that has been shown to Robert. What I will say is that in no way does his celebrity, entitle all of you to follow his every move. I personally don’t need a play by play of when he goes to the bathroom, smokes a cig, or eats a sandwich.

    I came to this website to see what all the hype was about, and now I realize it was a mistake. I hope that seeing a celebrity will be worth losing your moral character in the process.

      • Seriously I don’t give my opinion much because it’s non of my business what other people want to do. If they want to go to his hotel, go. If others feel that’s crossing the line then that’s fine. I have never been a fan of anything big until now (thanks to robert and twilight) and I truly appreciate all the info I get even if they are bathroom/smoke breaks…. but if I wasn’t a fan OR if I didn’t appreciate the info then I would not have wasted my time coming to the site…. I would have wasted even less time posting a comment about what a waste of time this site was lol. You don’t see the hype, then you don’t see the hype. Get over it and have a wonderful day.

      I disapprove that this film has its own little filming location section, and that they all have 200+ comments of girls wanting to stalk him. I feel so bad for him, I would much rather accidentally bump into him somewhere than go around following him. And I’ve seen comments of people literally flying in just to MAYBE catch a glimpse of him. I find that terrifying.

  87. Am out for this whole week am giving up now. Because its obvious that we are going to be treated this way the entire time an it kind of sucks. I mean if there are 5ppl standing there at 2AM i tink they deserve something. It kinda of blows. My sis (she isnt a Rob fan) said she tinks hes being an a*$ hole. She alaways rants on the vids of him walking an acting like fans arent there. But its because he is shy, i always argue that fact, but lately i have been losing. Maybe to the end or his last day we might actually get to see him good and proper. lol

      • Gerard Butler was in Queens this past Friday and he signed and posed for pictures with my neighbors. I agree, if there are a few respectful at 2am, for example, he should take just a few minutes and sign. But then again, they (Summit/body guards) may be advising him not to. Who knows…before the crazy incidents of last week, he did seem the type who would have done it.

    • On the night he hung out with Eva M, he left the hotel everyone thought he was staying at and got in a cab at 2 am, so I think we can be pretty sure it’s not that hotel.

                • It’s not really practical for him to stay there seeing as it’s really far from most filming locations and isn’t in an area he’d hang out in. Then again, it is one of the most luxurious hotels in NYC.

                  • Hey – so I’ve been trying to figure out where he might be staying since he arrived in NYC — it’s def. not the soho or tribeca grand – the private residence idea sounds on track and just a little info I find interesting if you look at all the places he’s been spotted before filming started they were in or near by the lower east side – also near where filming is so I’d place my bets on him staying somewhere on the lower east side….hope this is helpful to fellow fans!

  109. You guys many of the bars that he go to are not bars many celebs would go to. I think he likes to hang out around gramercy b/c that is were his friend lives plus he goes to bars in the west village and around union sq and soho kinda thing where no one would expect him to go.

        • I’m not totally sure about the hotel/private residence debate. It’s all speculation. What I do know is that this is a guy who can’t cook and likes room service and security, and those things make sense in the context of staying at a hotel. At a private residence, he’d have to fend for himself and wouldn’t have a doorman/other type of security.

          Summit has a ton of $$, so I feel they’d fork it over for a 2 month hotel stay since they know the returns on this movie will be huge and their biggest star is involved. It might even be cheaper than furnishing and stocking a private place.

          I’ve also went to Black and White a few times, but never saw him.

            • ok wait i dont know if this means anything but i read an interview with one of his friends thats like coming to visit him or something im sure you read about that too and they asked him a question i forget what but the guy was like no robs not really a party guy especially while he’s working but when he’s not working is a different story and they asked him what they would do when he goes to visit and he said Probably just hang out in the apartment and drink ALOT. I dont know if that MEANS anything at all..

              • It was the Marcus Foster interview. Being that they are British, they have different terminology, typically our version of apartment/condo would be a flat to them. I can see him at a hotel as long as it is equipped for extended stay.. Trump Int’l has security, and their suites have kitchens, dining areas, etc including his fave microwave. There have been pics posted in the past of him coming out of the back entrance when he’s stayed there before. I agree it is a short haul from set so not sure if that would be a viable option this time. Just my thoughts…

      I wish I knew the hotel he was staying in. What we are posting is only speculation and if you have read older posts, I am not going to be standing in front of the hotel waiting for him. I am planning a trip to New York in a couple of weeks and staying in the same hotel would be nice. It’s just another way to run in to him. Don’t be paranoid, this site’s comments are from women not tweens. Were not planning on attacking the man.

      • Still in general a lot of people read things here and things get re-posted and circulated and.. Its just a mess after that. Its not paranoia its just a respect for his privacy. If you know or thing you know something that’s great, but I wouldn’t talk about his hotel stuff on the internet, just out of respect for him and his safety from those who might not have the same sense that we have to not go acting all crazy out there.

        I was lucky enough to get to meet him after the shoot this morning and he was incredibly sweet given the craziness that he’s been experiencing since he’s been here.

    • There’s a deli that I believe is open 24 hours on Lafayette and Franklin (which is one block south, and one ave west of broadway and white, 5 min walk, if that). I used to live in that NYU dorm a few years ago… if only I was still in college… I’d be so close!

  116. Hey people, i read all this mystery about Rob’s hotel. To tell you the truth, it’s really not hard to find out. Not sure what you all are discussing about. Here is a hint: Check some website with updates on him. It’s already posted everywhere! Hello, can’t you all read? Even without any websites, it took me only a few hours to confirm the hotel and again that was not very difficult. Good luck on the search =) However, don’t waste your time. It will be hard to catch him there.

  125. What a girl…. Let’s be honest – this is getting pathetic. Has the guy (and I’m now using the term loosely) ever been on a film set before? He needs to act behind sheets, with six bodyguards walking him everywhere LITERALLY holding him by the hand, sometimes holding an umbrella over him, just so a crowd of teenage girls don’t get to take his photo or God forbid kiss him on the cheek? Seriously. The kid needs to grow a pair (or someone needs to give him a user’s guide on how to), come out to see the fans who – in this case it’s true – make him who he is (would anyone know who Robert Pattinson is if these exact same Twilight diehards didn’t go see the film 17 times and discuss every little detail?), and just give them 20 minutes a day for photos, autographs, and whatever else they want to civilly do. Seriously, it’s not that hard. If the Beatles could have fun with it, so can you. Just get two bodyguards, walk up to the barriers, and walk down the line with a smile on your face – no more of that pouty “my mommy beats me” bull^%$#&. You’ve got something good going, who knows how long it might last, have some fun with it.

    PS: You Edward Cullen fans out there – is he still as sexy when he needs six burly bald men protecting him from you? *shakes in boots*

      we are not going to jump him plus it is the least he can do.
      we are the ones who make him a celeb. if on one cared about twilight or harry potter than no one would have noticed hi. I sooo agree with you about the 20 minutes thing it will not kill him to do that!!! i know that he has gotten attacked by other girls but many of us that wait until midnight and 2,3 am are not going to do that. If he just tries again he will notice that we won’t attack him!!! RIGHT!!!!!!!!

      I think its pretty lame that you’re cutting the guy down for trying to do his job. Yes the fans are great for every celebrity but the truth to the matter is he doesn’t owe any one of us anything! His craft (making films) is his gift to his fans! The poor guy has ten thousand cameras in his face at all times and still has a smile for everyone at the end of the day. To be honest if some crazy ass chics attacked me and were grabbing at me all the time (or trying to) I would have my “six burly bald men protecting me from you” too!! Now as for the 20 min a day to sign autographs and pictures. AGAIN he is WORKING!!! Do you work? Do you know what its like? And I’m sure when he has finished filming for the day, the last thing he wants is to stay and sign autographs. I’m sure he just wants to go home and relax or whatever. Anyway you sound a little bitter to me… have you been waiting long for a picture? Let me guess… you’re one of the middle aged crazy fans….. that’s why he doesn’t give you the 20 min you so desperately crave… sad and kinda scary!! get some meds!!

      • Well said Crazy Lady Hater, she’s either one of those people or parent to one of the psycho tween fans that didn’t get the attention her mother feels she deserved.. If you can get a pic from a respectable distance, hooray, if not, well that is too bad, but it is not his JOB to sign autographs and have his picture taken (which he has stated many times that he does not particularly care for…at all!). It’s his JOB to act. Why should he take time out from working to risk being strangled by a gaggle of freaks? Why shouldn’t he be able to just leave and have a life after work like everyone else. She because he is in a certain profession does not mean he owes you or any of us anything. Everyone should just be happy to get the chance to see him in person, watch and appreciate his work, and move on about the day…

        • Actually I’m one of the people working on the production so I know what I’m talking about – anyone who knows a film set knows that 90% of the day, especially for an actor, is spent WAITING. That’s why they have a camper, so they have a comfortable place to WAIT. They get 60 to 90 minutes to eat. As for going home at the end of the day, he’s going back to a hotel he can’t really leave because, hey!, you guys are outside again. So no rush there. You’re telling me 20 minutes to sign photos is going to kill him?

          Besides, “work”? It’s not like he’s curing cancer here or, for that matter, starring in Sophie’s Choice. He’s in an independent film playing a moody teenager who thinks life sucks and makes out on a beach with a hot blonde – I’m pretty sure he can nail it without having to Marlon Brando it up 24/7.

          Third point, this guy hasn’t become who he is because he’s spent 15 years on his craft. He made two blockbusters world-famous for being of dreadful quality that are only sustained by their fans (Al Pacino didn’t become Al Pacino because 2000 people dressed like Serpico showed up at every other midnight screening – although to get the joke, you might have to look up who Serpico is. Seriously. Go ahead.) To everyone else in the world he’s the “Twilight kid”. He wouldn’t even be cast in a film like REMEMBER ME if producers didn’t think the Twilight kid would get them some box-office. So, yes, actually, being nice to the diehard fans across the street is part of his job, because without them he’s quite literally without a job.

          Angelina Jolie’s been filming here without all that security. Harrison Ford, as we all know, is filming here without all that security. The only one who needs full-time staff to change his diaper is this guy. Could it be because he’s the only one who has no clue what he’s doing? Because if he rightfully deserves all the security (ie, all the girls outside are freaks, bc that’s the only thing that would justify so much), then why are you guys still out there?

          • Actually – I think your full of crap. I don’t think you work on production – you just want to give us a reason to see your side of things – I don’t know. Maybe you want to get angry fans there to start a scene or leave more “your rude” notes on his car. You said the fans there are CRAZY – So lets talk about the bodyguards – You are talking about stars like Ford and Jolie – I don’t know how many bodyguards they have BUT I do know how many bodyguards Jennifer Aniston has while she is filming in Atlantic City (because I know one of them) and she is not being hounded like Rob either – Aniston has 6 – yes SIX bodyguards while filming. The media has its attention on the guy who sells magazine covers.

            Lets talk about the possiblity of approaching the majority of the fans – if they scream every time he walks into view – there is no point for him to approach – so he can stand there and be screamed and grabbed? Now if the fans are calm like last night – well he did approach. But to approach the fans that you have called crazy – the ones that cry and scream well thats just crazy all it takes is one or two to cross the line and the rest will follow.

            So Rob is more then welcome to wave from afar (which he has done) come close when its safe, and hide out in his hotel room from not just the crazy fans but also from the photographers that are in his face ALL the time.

    • Perhaps his agents read your post because that it exactly what happened last night – he walked past the small crowd of fans with just two bodyguards (twice) and they gave us an opportunity to take a photo only two feet away. Thank you bodyguards…you were awesome last night…thank you agents…and most of all, thank you Rob.

  128. You are all pathetic. Find something better to do with your time. Nothing will ever come of standing around a movie set and screaming every time you see him. He’s trying to work, and I can only imagine how frustrating it is when there are a bunch of crazy people standing nearby watching. Give him his space.

    And on a side note- if you are over the age of 25 you should probably find something better to do with your time anyway.

    • I saw Rob last night and it was worth it. It was a very small crowd, no one got out control and his security guards were awesome. IT WAS THE PAPPARAZZI who were out of control and ruined it for all of us. They came out of nowhere!! Rob and his agents, I think, gave us an opportunity for a photo (thank you Rob) and it was great.
      Also met great ladies from Florida (hi ladies)…it’s just fun, that’s all it is.

      • What time did that happen? By 1:30am my friend and I decided to go home! Truthfully I have really just had a lot of fun hanging out with all the fans and the PAs. Most of the PAs have been pretty nice and it’s been great just being outside and doing something different. I’ve never seen a movie filmed before, so I just wish I could actually see more of that!

    • I have to say not all of us want to go to scream at him because he is a good looking guy. I actually didn’t even like Twilight the first time I saw it and when I saw it again I noticed how much passion his face was expressing and something just clicked. Then I was introduced to his music and I got the same feeling. He lets out so much passion. I would like to see him sing in person, but why not go and watch a movie production?

      These people are more than pretty faces. Rob acts, sings, and plays two instriments that I know of. Who knows what else he could do? I brought my daughter to meet Jackson a couple weeks ago. He acts, sings, and plays at least 5 instraments. Considering at least a dozen people in my family plays an instrament or sings I feel in addition to the people in my family they are great rolemodels. With the discipline you need to just play one instrament it is amazing all they do.

      Not to return the favor and insult people of a certain age, but that could be what the majority of the girls are doing, screaming, but as a woman older than 25 I have an interest in seing how a movie is made in person. I hope my daughter developes an interest from my interest. That is the same reason why I am 35 and found the courage to do a back flip on the diving board today after not doing one for about 20 years. For me these are all great experiences I could share with my daughter. I could show her passion for all things and hope I find what she is passionate about and help her develop it.

      As for being older than 25 and finding something better to do what could be better than having someone open your eyes to something new and interesting and sharing it with someone else?

  133. Hi Bitemypillow—-this is one of the FL ladies—we have had a blast finding our way around NY by finding the set each night. In 3 nights—we’ve seen Rob 3 times. Tonight he was doing the carnival scene—he seemed MUCH more relaxed—but YES focused. Thanks SO MUCH OLV for posting the filming locations—-we are thoroughly enjoying our vacation “with” Rob and hope to for a few more nights. We are a couple of tired teachers from Florida—and this has been just what the doctor ordered. And BTW—almost everyone we have met in NY has been wonderfully helpful and kind! Well—-except for the two old guys on the Subway—-but everyone else has been GREAT!!

  137. I’m a big lover of NY! I try to visit twice a year. This year I will be there on Friday July 24th for the day. As many of you, I also would loooove to see Rob.And just see a movie set. Can anyone tell me if they will be filming on July 24? Where? And how long are they filming this movie? One website said they are filming till mid August. This website has given me the most info. It’s very informational. If anyone could answer I’d appreciate it! Thanx a bunch 🙂

    • I wouldn’t bet on seeing Rob on set on the 24th – he is still confirmed for Comic Con on the 23rd in San Diego. So if he does go – I would be willing to bet he got a 4 day weekend – if he isn’t done filming by then. They have 35 shooting days (counting weekdays only since june 15ith) So that leaves July 30th as the last day (they filmed one saturday so far) So I wouldn’t be suprised if by The 22nd Rob is wrapped. I mean he has had 1 day off since the shoot began – and there are scences that don’t inculde him. This is just my speculation. But 35 days have been said by a few people
