After the cancelation of her latest series, Whiskey Caviler, AMC has confirmed Lauren Cohan will be revising her role as Maggie on The Walking Dead. There is speculation that fans will even see Maggie before the end of season 10.
Maggie was last seen in Season 9’s fifth episode. After the show’s time jump, fans learned that she had taken baby Hershel to work with Georgie, who is trying to bring civilization back to the world.
TWD’s 10th season debuted Sunday to a record-low audience, drawing only 4 million same-day viewers and a 1.4 rating among adults 18-49. This was down 34 percent from the season nine debut in total viewers and 35 percent in adults 25-54 (2.9 rating to 1.9) and 42 percent in adults 18-49.
This dip is in inline with the ratings for the debut of other popular series such as This Is Us, The Good Doctor, and Young Sheldon.
