Tonight, The Other Guys, starring Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell, is filming at 135 Jacques Ave in Staten Island, but yesterday they filmed a huge crash scene involving a tour bus and a scene where a man threatens to jump from a building in downtown NYC.
Last week, while filming in Brooklyn, Will Ferrell helped a man who was injured on set when a branch fell from a tree and hit him on the head. Reportedly, Will “rushed to his aid and helped keep the man calm before medics arrived.”
We aren’t surprised Will was so nice to the actor who got hurt. We met Ferrell once a while back, when he was still on SNL, and he was one of the nicest celebs we’ve ever encountered! We spotted him as he was leaving 30 RockĀ and when we approached him, he was really friendly and down-to-earth. He chatted with us about baseball and the weather and seemed really genuine.
Here are a couple pictures from Saturday’s shoot. The Other Guys, a comedy/buddy flick is expected in theaters next year. (Thanks to Demetrise for the pics!)
