If you have a chance, pick up the latest Entertainment Weekly. There is an article entitled “Spoiler Nation” by Jeff Jensen inside explaining how movie making is becoming more difficult because so many people are going to movie sets and filming scenes while they are being shot then posting them online. Gee, we don’t know anyone who would do that.
This article about the fire that ravaged several sets at Universal Studios on Sunday explains that these sets were being used more in recent years as filming in Downtown L.A. has become more difficult. As we have reported in the past, residents of Downtown L.A. are fed up with the constant interruptions due to filming.
Transformers 2 will begin filming on the Penn campus June 12th. They may also still be looking for Airmen to appear in the film as extras.
The Flyboys is making the rounds at another small film fest. The film has already been screened at the Syracuse International Film Festival and the Connecticut Film Festival.
Drew Barrymore scouted an elementary school in Woodhaven, MI for her next film on May 20th to the surprise of the school’s Principal who had no idea it was her.
