‘Prisoners’ To Film In Connecticut Early Next Year

Manny Pacquiao v Miguel Cotto

A new movie, starring Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman, will begin filming in Derby, CT in early 2010.

“Prisoners” is rumored to be about a man (Mark Wahlberg) whose 6 year-old daughter, along with a friend, are kidnapped. In turn, he decides to kidnap the man whom he suspects is responsible. Its assumed Christian Bale will be playing a detective who butts heads with Wahlberg throughout the investigation.

This will be the third movie in a row Wahlberg has made in the Northeast. Last summer he wrapped “The Fighter” (along with Bale) in Boston and just a couple weeks he finished filming “The Other Guys” in NYC.

Reportedly, movie producers have already told local officials they will need up to 750 extras for the film. Casting calls will most likely take place next month.

  1. I hope Christian is in this film definetely! I’ve heard a lots of rumours about it but it seems that it’s confirmed finally. I’d like his role, a detective could be fine for him. Christian good luck for you man! Love ya!

    • Russell Crowe was supposed to be the orginal lead man, but the Prisoners filming schedule conflicted with something else.
