Fans of the martini drinking English Spy, better known as James Bond, will have to wait a little longer to see their hero on the big screen. The next installment of “Bond” might be pushed back due to the fact that Daniel Craig has decided to focus his attention on other projects.
According to sources, the reason behind the delays is that Daniel Craig, has signed on to the filming of “Dream House” which resulted in the 41-year-old English actor forcing the “Bond” producers to push back production, until a more suitable time for the actor.
“The producers have been working on the script for two years and hired Sam Mendes as the director,” a source told Britain’s Mail On Sunday. The insider added, Even though the actor said in late 2009, that the the production of the next “Bond” movie may begin at the end of 2010, the source adds to Britain’s Mail that “They`re not even close to starting filming yet.”
Whether or not this will have an influence on the expected 2011 release date is still unknown, but we will keep you informed as we get more information on the subject.
