Channing Tatum and Al Pacino begin filming ‘Son of No One’ in NYC next month

The Hollywood Reporter announced today that Al Pacino is taking on the role vacated by Robert De Niro in the police thriller Son of No One.

The script centers on a young cop who is assigned to a precinct in the working class neighborhood where he grew up, with an old secret surfacing and threatening to destroy his life and family.

Channing Tatum is also attached to the project in which he’ll play the young cop. Terrence Howard, Ray Liotta and Katie Holmes are also in various stages of deal-making to join the cast.

The movie begins shooting in New York on March 22.
