As we exclusively reported a few weeks back, March 8th was the last day of production for Marvel’s Thor in Los Angeles. Then, the movie was scheduled to make a company move to New Mexico.
Now, Film in New Mexico is reporting that they will officially begin filming the New Mexico portions of the film on Monday.
“THORMANHATTAN starts filming in rural Galisteo, NM on Monday. They built a new town, a friend got called for extra work.”
But, even though we have a start date, it is doubtful we will see much in terms of fan photos or video from the set. As Comicbookmovie.com points out, “if the are building a town, then the security must be tight.”

Update from Film In NM: Thor update: RT @FilminNewMexico Drove to Galisteo to see THOR set but it’s on a hill & guarded.
Does anyone know how long they will be filming in NM? I may go on a small roadtrip to find them next weekend.
