I was wondering what SAG and NON SAG mean. I have a basic idea. Also, do you know if it is okay to be from upstate. Near Albany, for example?
SAG stands for the Screen Actors Guild, the film actors union, so they’re looking for both union and non-union people for extras and background. They want locals because they don’t pay for hotels and transportation.
I wanted to know what would I need to bring with me? Do I have to dress a certain way? What if I wear a weave in my hair and it’s shoulder length is that okay with the long hair requirement?
should I dress for the period or will there be a head shot only?
I went on the casting call, did anyone hear from them yet saying you were picked to be an extra?
