New Reality TV Shows Gritty Side of Upstate NY

The New York Times featured a story on the new reality show Confessions of a Matchmaker. Set in Buffalo, the show gives a glimpse of a tough city to match a tough star.  “Buffalo is the setting for Confessions of a Matchmaker tonight on A&E. Nobody will confuse that town with Hollywood, Manhattan or the castle on The Bachelor. Establishing shots show us a gritty, snowy industrial city in the unforgiving north, with a heroine to match.”

Britain is excited by the prospect of millions seeing the country in the next Harry Potter film. The country is hoping to lure tourists who want to capture the magic of Harry Potter by visiting locations made famous in the books and films.

Filming Begins in Small Town, PA

 Pottstown, PA is taking center stage as filming begins for a new film starring David Boreanaz. Our Lady of Victory is being filmed at the town’s high school and focuses on  the 1972 Immaculata College girls basketball team’s rise to the national championships.
