Martin Lawrence stopped by ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show‘ on April 8th to promote his upcoming movie ‘Death at a Funeral‘. According to IMDB, the movie is an American remake of the 2007 British film about “a funeral ceremony which turns into a debacle of exposed family secrets and misplaced bodies.”
‘Death at a Funeral‘ will premiere in Hollywood, CA on April 12, 2010 at the Arclight Cinema Dome at 6360 Sunset Blvd. The cast includes Martin Lawrence, Chris Rock, Tracy Morgan, Danny Glover, Regina Hall, James Marsden, Luke Wilson, and many more. Arrivals are likely to start between 5pm and 6:30pm.
‘Death at a Funeral‘ will be released in theatres April 16, 2010.
During the ‘Ellen‘ interview, Lawrence stated that ‘Big Mommas: Like Father, Like son’ will begin filming in two weeks. However, we have already confirmed that filming has begun at the Agnes Scott College campus in Decatur, GA as early as April 9th.
In order to become physically prepared for his roles as Malcolm and Big Momma, Lawrence says “he had to lose weight to put the fat suit on.”
