The ‘Breaking Upwards‘ premiere was held at the IFC Center in NYC on April 1st. OLV Member StarMom36 took pictures with cast members Julie White and Tate Ellington, along with guest stars Zoë Isabella Kravitz, Daniel Eric, and Peter Skarsgaard.
“When I found out who was going to be at the event I flew downtown,” said StarMom36. While “some of the guest list did not show up, I was still happy to get my picture with them.”
She also recorded ‘Breaking Upwards‘ leading stars and real life couple Daryl Wein and Zoe Lister-Jones in 2 videos, check out video 2 here. In another video, Pablo Schreiber and Andrea Martin are giving separate interviews.
The final video shows Ebon Moss-Bachrach giving an interview with a crowd surprising, speedy walk-through, by HEROES star Zachary Quinto!
According to Just Jared, Quinto hit up the carpet with fellow actor Peter Sarsgaard.
Interestingly enough, Peter Sarsgaard is currently filming ‘Green Lantern’ in NOLA where he plays villain “Dr. Hector Hammond”, while Zachary Quinto is of course Sylar from ‘Heroes‘. A villain convention?! It’s even better than going to Comic Con!
Quinto posted on Twitter following the premiere: “just saw breaking upwards. simply fantastic. check out @brkingupwards worth it. i promise.” (10:40pm on Apr. 1st)
In a conversation StarMom36 had with cast member Tate Ellington, she said that she had visited “the ‘Remember Me‘ set a few times.” He responded with an “Oh wow” followed by a laugh. She added in a side note in an e-mail to OLV that it was more like 15. Who could blame her!
She also complimented him on the ‘Remember Me‘ movie saying “it was very good. Not just due to the fact it was made in NYC, but the story line was great.” He said “thanks for your support” and then walked into the theatre.
When she met Julie White [video], she told her “I can’t wait to see ‘Transformer 3‘.” White smiled and said “thank you for your support.”
StarMom36 said she appreciated that it was a smaller premiere because “it went well and was a great event!” She was able to get a photo taken with every celebrity attendee.
