‘Hung’ moves season two filming from L.A. to Michigan

As we reported back in March, the HBO series Hung is set in Michigan but they film most of the series in Los Angeles. We also reported that they would probably be in Detroit at some point to film exteriors and pick up shots for season two.

And now, it looks like the time has come. The Detroit Free Press is reporting that Hung is back in Michigan and that one of show’s stars, Anne Heche, has already been spotted around town. Two of our readers also commented that they spotted to series filming in Michigan on Saturday and got autographs from the show’s cast.

Hung is good company this year too. The following movies are also set to start filming in Michigan over the net few months:

Real Steel starring Hugh Jackman, filming this summer.

Salvation Boulevard, a comedy with Pierce Brosnan, is set to start shooting in Michigan in May.

Scream 4, begins filming in Ann Arbor in June.

Vamps, a vampire-themed romantic comedy with Alicia Silverstone and Sigourney Weaver, also begins filming in Michigna in June.

And the latest chapter of the Harold and Kumar films is also set to filming in Michigan this year.

If you spot Hung filming, let us know about it at olv@onlocationvacations.com.
