Oprah’s Live Your Best Life Weekend is coming to New York City this Mother’s Day weekend, May 7th – 9th. The “Live Your Best Life” phrase comes from the tagline of O, The Oprah Magazine, which will be celebrating it’s 10th anniversary.
The LYBL Weekend tickets are $375 (plus tax and service charge), which includes all events. However, if you can’t afford the entire weekend of events, the charity race on Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 9th) is open to everyone. The LYBL Walk costs $30 and upon registration, you choose which 1 of the 10 Oprah approved charities your donation will help benefit. The event will be joined by thousands of New Yorkers and celebrity guests, some of which are listed below.

Live Your Best Life Weekend events include:
A crowd of several thousand ticketed audience members is expected to join Oprah and multi-platinum, five-time Grammy®–winning artist Christina Aguilera for the hour-long live broadcast. Aguilera will perform the single “Not Myself Tonight” from her highly anticipated forthcoming album Bionic (in stores June 8). Her interview will delve into motherhood and her singing career during an exclusive interview with Oprah. Other special guests are expected to make appearances during the broadcast.
Friday, May 7th – Welcome Reception at Gotham Hall
1356 Broadway at 36th Street – 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The weekend will kick off with a welcome reception at Gotham Hall. Confirmed guests of the LYBL weekend will receive registration materials at the time slot of their choosing.
Saturday, May 8th – MORNING LifeShops at Jacob Javits Convention Center
Event entrance on 11th Avenue between 35th and 36th Street
Doors Open at 8am; Event begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m.
Oprah will kick start the day with inspirational welcome remarks. Afterward attendees will follow their pre-selected schedule of seminars led by O, The Oprah Magazine’s, most well-known contributors.
Seminar 1: Suze Orman or Dr. Oz
Seminar 2: Nate Berkus or Donna Brazile
Seminar 3: Martha Beck or Peter Walsh
The time in between seminars will offer LYBL weekend guests the opportunity to meet and greet O editors and contributors. Guests can also watch Oprah Radio interviews with Gayle King, get a sneak peek of OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, engage in mini-makeovers, interact with sponsors and much more!
Saturday, May 8th – EVENING with Oprah Winfrey at Radio City Music Hall
1260 Avenue of the Americas – 8:00-10:00 p.m.
Oprah will bring her autobiography to life during her one-woman show Saturday night, May 8, at Radio City Music Hall
The LYBL walk takes place on the final day of the weekend-long celebration which will be lead by Oprah, along side of the top 10 fundraisers, who will also have their name featured in an upcoming issue of O, The Oprah Magazine!
The 2-mile Walk will begin on the scenic Hudson River at 42nd Street and the West Side Highway. Suggested arrival time is no later than 7 a.m. The Walk will begin promptly at 7:30 a.m. and end at 11:30 a.m. on 49th st in Times Square where there will be a celebration for all participants at the finish line to close the weekend’s festivities with speakers, music, and food. The Oprah Store will be there too.
The Walk Registration Fee is $30 + $2 tax and service fees per ticket. (This price is included if you register for the whole weekend.)
