Is there no stopping Chris Evans? With the recent movie release of “The Losers”, and announcements that Chris Evans is set to star as “Captain America”, additional movie news has now come out about this very in-demand actor and another of his upcoming movie projects, “What’s Your Number?”.
Raised in Sudbury, Boston, Chris Evans will be teaming up with actress Anna Faris (“The House Bunny”) for the film. The made-in-Massachusetts flick follows Faris’ character Delilah, who looks back at the past 20 men she’s dated in her life and wonders if one of them is Mr. Right. Chris Evans will be playing Delilah’s womanizing next-door neighbor.
Evans has said in the past about filming in Boston: “Anytime I hear a movie that might be filming in Boston, it shoots up on my priority list,” he says. “I did grow up in Sudbury, but all my friends live in Boston, so we pretty much hit sleazy, dirty Boston bars.”
Other actors attached to the “What’s Your Number?” project are Andy Samberg (“Saturday Night Live”) and Zachary Quinto (“Star Trek”, “Heroes”). The film, which is slated to film Friday, May 14th to Thursday, July 1st, is based on Karyn Bosnak’s book “20 Times a Lady.”
Casting scouts are holding an open casting call for union-members only over 18-years of age on Friday, April 30th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 537 Tremont Street in Boston. CP Casting is holding a non-union casting call the following weekend at a different location.
Three wedding scenes will be filmed, ranging from a blue-collar bash to a big-fat Italian wedding to a young/corporate soiree. So if you have a bridesmaid gown, it will be very useful!
