Comic-Con Wrap-Up

Over the weekend the annual Comic-Con International took place in San Diego, CA. Comic-Con isn’t just for geeks anymore. If you are interested in movies, TV shows, pop culture, or just want to gawk at celebrities, this is the place for you. All of the major networks and studios had their biggest stars at the convention showing off their latest projects in true Hollywood style. We are sorry we missed it and will be sure not to make the same mistake next year!

So here’s a round up of the highlights of this year’s Comic-Con in case you missed it too.

1. Lost gives ‘em what they want. At the Lost Q & A the producers treated anyone who asked a question to a freebie from the set! They also brought along a “secret” video and to top it all off there was a surprise appearance from the cast’s resident hottie Matthew Fox. I don’t even like Lost and I wish I had been there!

2. Neal Patrick Harris talks Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. If you haven’t seen Dr. Horrible’s yet, stop everything and check it out now!

3. Twilight mania!

4. Fans get a first look at Terminator 4 . But noticeably absent is the film’s star and mom-beater Christian Bale.

5. A surprise visit from Hugh Jackman. He also debuted the poster for Wolverine, out next year.

6. Kiefer Sutherland signs autographs, does interviews, and reminds us how much we miss 24.

7. Fan Costumes.

8. Kevin Smith. What would Comic-Con be without him?

9. A Stargate straight to video premiere becomes a press saturated red carpet event.

10. The Dexter Poster. You can buy one of these posters designed by Shepard Fairey at the Showtime Website (we did). Power-saw to the People!

UPDATE: 11. This EW interview with the cast of Fringe. Please indulge me for a moment so I can gush about the hotness that is Josh Jackson. In this video he says something-“ish” which I am always adding “ish” to the end of words, he is left handed, as am I, and we both like red wine. Further proof we are perfect for each other!
