Cynthia Nixon has signed on for a multi-episode arc on Showtime’s upcoming series, The Big C. The series stars Laura Linney as Cathy, a woman who learns she has cancer and decides to reclaim her life in the face of a terminal diagnosis. The SATC star will play Rebecca, Cathy’s flaky, long-lost college roommate.
