A while back we reported that Daniel Craig delayed the filming for the new Bond movie because he was busy, well that problem just solved itself, the new movie has been sacked.
If you were looking forward to seeing Daniel Craig drink Martinis anytime soon, then perhaps it is best if you skip this report.
The 23rd James Bond movie to be named, License To Thrill, has been canceled. That’s right, the movie will most likely not see the daylight anytime soon, the reason is that Metro Goldwin Mayer doesn’t have enough money to film the movie.
The producers, Wilson and Broccoli, released a statement announcing “that due to the uncertainty of MGM’s financial status and a failure to close a sale of the studio, the future of the Bond flick was delayed infinitely.” Other than that, not much has been released, no dates or times for any future plans have been released and the producers denied commenting further on the issue.
So while the movie was originally set for a 2011 or 2012 release, it now seems as if MGM has pushed it back to an unknown release date!
