With the success of 2009’s “Fast & Furious”, comes the fifth installment of the movie franchise – “Fast Five”.
Returning for the sequel are Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, and Ludacris. Also cast in “Fast Five” will be Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson.
Tyrese Gibson tweeted the following, which confirmed Johnson’s involvement with the sequel – “Major shouts to Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, & Dewayne [sic] “Rock” Johnson!! “Fast & Furious Five” Let’s get em again!!”
It’s rumored that Dwayne Johnson’s character will be “on the right side of the law”.
Directed by Justin Lin (‘Fast & Furious’), “Fast Five” will be scheduled for a June 10, 2011 movie release. We recently heard that “Fast Five” is currently filming in Vidal Junction, CA. They will also shoot in Puerto Rico later this summer.
