•There will be an open casting call for extras for the movie Touchback which will be filming in Grand Rapids, MI next month. The call will be held on Thursday, July 29,from 1 pm- 3 pm at the West Michigan Film Office (741 Kenmoor Ave Suite E Grand Rapids, MI) Day rate will be $75/ 8 hours + overtime.

•John Corbett is currently filming a Hallmark movie, Christmas in November, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Sarah Paulson and Sam Elliot also star. The movie is expected to continue filming in Canada through August 20, when they’ll move back to an Los Angeles studio. Interestingly, thanks to Ellen Page, we’ve also learned that Halifax has the the most bars per capita in North America. [CH]
