Weekend Filming Locations including ‘Wanderlust’ and ‘Man On A Ledge’

Here’s a list of movies and TV shows filming around the country on Saturday, 10.23- Sunday, 10.24.


Filming in Georgia:

•Fast Five (a.k.a Fast and Furious Five) is filming at a body shop on the corner of Memorial Dr and Holtzclaw in the Reynoldstown neighborhood of Atlanta. They added a sign to the building that says “Tej’s Auto Service” (Tej is Ludacris’ character in the movie) and built a billboard outside the building for Goa Airlines. They were setting up lighting and equipment on Friday, sounds like they are filming at this location over the weekend (Thanks Matt)

•Wanderlust, starring Jennifer Aniston, is filming at Marlowe Farms, 3750 George Williams Rd Monroe GA on Saturday (10.23). (Thanks Bock)

Filming in Los Angeles, CA:

•America’s Most Wanted is filming at 500 E Temple St (Sunday, 10.24, 10:00 A.M. – 10:00 P.M.).

•For the love of Money is filming around Frank Ct., 6th St – 7th St (Sunday, 10.24, 5:00 A.M. – 12:00 A.M.) and Harlem Pl, 6th St – 7th St (10.24, 5:00 A.M. – 12:00 A.M.).

•Heimbold is filming at 1333 – 1335 Willow St (Sunday, 10.24, 10:00 A.M. – 10:00 P.M.) and 8th St, Spring St. – Broadway (10.24, 7:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.).

•Keri & Quincy is filming at 108 W. 2nd St (Sunday, 10.24, 8:00 A.M. – 12:00 A.M.).

•True Crime is filming at 1111 S Broadway.

Filming in Louisiana:

•Trespass, starring Nicolas Cage, is filming on Southern Trace Parkway (near St Francis Way) in Shreveport, LA on Saturday (10.23).

Filming in New Mexico:

•Blood Brothers, the new WWE/John Cena movie, is filming at 1st St SW & Hazeldine Ave SW Albuquerque, NM on Saturday night (10.23).

Filming in New York, NY:

•A Legal Mind, a new USA series, is filming around Park Ave and E 5oth on Saturday (10.23).

•Man On A Ledge, starring Sam Worthington and Elizabeth Banks, is filming on Sunday (10.24) around Madison and 44th/45th Streets. (Thanks Melissa & The One) FYI: Sounds like signs posted are to move cars Sat, film Sun. The movie is scheduled to shoot in NYC through November. It will also shoot in Miami. Update: Check out notes in comments, this might be a late night shoot on Saturday night.

•Safe, starring Jason Statham, is filming on Pearl St around the Brooklyn Bridge and around E FDR Dr and Houston on Saturday (10.23). (Thanks to @Oyriknyc for tweeting us this photo of Jason on set Friday!)

Update: On Sunday, (1o.24), Safe is filming near the Manhattan Bridge (around Forsyth and Canal/Division).

Update: •The Sitter, starring Jonah Hill, is filming around Astoria Park (Shore Blvd between Astoria Park S and Ditmars Blvd in Queens) again Saturday (10.23) night.

•Too Big To Fail, a new HBO movie, is filming on 56th between Lexington and 3rd on Saturday (10.23) and Sunday (10.24). (Thanks @mynameisjune)

Filming in Pennsylvania:

•Accelerate: The BMX Movie, a feature film currently in production in the Lehigh Valley, PA, is hosting a Heroes of Dirt Competition on Saturday (10.23, 12 p.m.) at Canal Park in Allentown, PA, it is open to the public and will be used in the film.

Filming in Vancouver:

V is filming at Burrard and W Hastings all weekend. (Thanks @Wynonna2)

  5. MAN ON A LEDGE: Daily News Gridlock Sam column said yesterday they are filming Saturday into Sunday morning, depending on the weather in the location already posted. I am guessing the ledge scenes are being done on park Avenue in the low 40’s southbound side closed to traffic..

    SAFE: Filming tonight with cars on or near the Brooklyn Bridge and FDR on the Manhattan side.

    • DO you happen to have a link to that article I can’t find it, just trying to work out times, yest someone said the signs said shooting was def. Sun only, just trying to sort it out, thanks!!

    • I saw a casting call for Young Adult that said transportation would be provided from Manhattan to the location, not sure which day, but I thought it was for today.

  7. Casting calls for Nurse Jackie for Monday, 10/25, say they’ll be shooting at the Boathouse restaurant in Central Park, which would explain signs at 72nd & 5th Ave.

    • Thanks Annie, I went a signing last night with Peter Facinelli here (upstate) and I asked him if he would be there and he said he would and told me they would def. be in Central Park if anyone wanted to stop by, so I think we all technically now have an invitation to the set. LOL

  8. Anyone know what Departures is? saw signs and vans on 50 bt 8 – 9 th. And again by trump tower. Is it a cover for celebrity apprentice?

  10. Just added an update for Safe for today above, also heard yesterday was FF5’s last day in Atlanta:

    FF5 wrap party is at Straits tonight from now until 2AM. They wrapped in Atlanta today and are heading to Brazil to finish filming. (via @ MJagr26). But, on another note, The Change Up with Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman just started filming this weekend in Atlanta!

    • According to the casting calls for “Safe” for Sunday, they will be shooting a hip club scene starting Sunday afternoon and filming very late into Sunday night/Monday morning.

  13. MAN ON A LEDGE: Today they were only rigging the roof top of the Roosevelt Hotel On Madison @ 45th Street. We can presume this is where the ledge will be. First day of actual filming is Sat, Oct 30th.
    Heard it may be at this location with a big turnout of cops, emergency responders.

    Anybody know how long in NYC they are filming??
