Jennifer Garner will be making a special appearance near her hometown of Charleston, WV tomorrow on behalf of Save The Children.
Garner will be speaking at Ashton Elementary School in Ashton, WV at 12:15 p.m. Friday to announce six new Save the Children sites in West Virginia.
West Virginia is the 15th state to have a U.S. Save the Children program which will focus on providing impoverished children with quality early education and literacy education, as well as physical activities and proper nutrition.
Jennifer, who is a Save The Children Artist Ambassador, said that she hopes the program will help children reach their potential. “There is such a need here, and there is so much unmet potential right here in West Virginia,” she said. “The cycle of poverty in this state is going on for generations and generations and generations, and we hope we can provide a new energy to help the kids reach their true potential and avoid that.
